About me
I am a freelance illustrator from China, currently creating and developing my work
in the United States. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)
with an M.A. in Illustration.
My practice centers on illustration, comics, and graphic novels. I am drawn to
vibrant color palettes, dynamic compositions, and imagery with a strong sense of
style. Much of my work explores themes of youth, coming-of-age experiences,
fantasy, and personal growth. Through storytelling, I seek to capture the emotions,
memories, and uncertainties that accompany growing up.
I am currently developing original comics and graphic narratives. Through these
works, I hope to create stories that resonate with readers and encourage them to
reflect on their own experiences and memories. I believe that comics have a
unique ability to connect people through shared emotions, allowing personal
stories to become universal ones.
In addition to illustration and comics, I have begun exploring three-dimensional art.
I have designed a series of original animal characters and transformed them into
sculptural works. Moving forward, I hope to further develop my practice in ceramics
and clay sculpture, expanding these characters into a larger body of
three-dimensional work.
